Collect Call

So this morning at 7:00 I hear my cell phone ringing. I am extremely hesitant to get up because i had been up all night with Miley.... but i get up. I said "Hello" no one answered. I said "Hello" again. Then an automated voice came on the phone saying "You have a collect call from 'Reggie. ' an inmate at the Utah County Jail. To deny, just hang up or to accept the call press 5" So being the wonderful wife I am, I pressed 5. Well apparently early this morning he was pulled over for his trailer not having a license plate, and he had a warrant out for his arrest. Now don't think that my husband is a felon, he just doesn't believe in paying his past tickets. I Dont know how many times I have told him to pay his stupid tickets, and that one day i will be bailing him out... he never listens. He is probably the most stubborn person I know. So he proceeds to tell me that he needs $400 and i needed to go get him at the Spanish Fork station. Well, both girls were still asleep... so I Called his mom at the Dry Cleaning Depot. She was laughing and then handed the phone to Allen (his brother), and he decided he would call Dallas (his other brother) and so they went and bailed him out. So instead of Reggie paying $80 for the original ticket, he will pay $400 for the ticket and $200 to get his truck out of the impound. I know he is going to get a lot of teasing for this! but don't worry, Reggie wasn't scared because that wasn't the first time he has been arrested!!

That is hilarious!! I can't wait to tell Josh because he has 3 unpaid tickets and I am sure they are just waiting to pull him over again and take him in too!

What was his first arrest? Why do guys feel like they are above the law, and don't have to pay tickets, or take care of getting a license plate for the stupid trailer. It's way cheaper to get all that stuff taking care of. The law always gets you in the end.

LoL I bet you thought you'd have to wait at least 18 more years before you got a call from an inmate! =) Somehow, this story does not surprise me....

When I saw your husband at your wedding reception he really didn't look like a convict.
